Terms of Service

LinkUnlocker ("we", "us", "our") is a link-gating and monetization platform that allows creators to place destination URLs behind task-based gates (such as follows, subscribes, or watches). Visitors ("users") complete those tasks to unlock the destination content. Creators may additionally enroll in the LinkUnlocker Earn Program to monetize their links through our advertising network.

By accessing or using LinkUnlocker — whether as a creator with an account or as a visitor completing tasks — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 13 years old to use LinkUnlocker. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Creators who wish to register an account represent that they are legally permitted to enter binding contracts in their jurisdiction.

When you register as a creator you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe have been accessed by unauthorized parties.

You are solely responsible for all content published through your account — including the destination URL, title, description, thumbnail, and any tasks you configure. By submitting content you represent that you have all necessary rights to do so and that the content complies with these Terms.

The following are strictly prohibited on LinkUnlocker. Violations may result in immediate content removal and permanent account termination without notice.

• Adult / NSFW content — You may not gate, link to, or promote sexually explicit material, pornography, or any content that is inappropriate for a general audience regardless of legal status in your jurisdiction.
• Illegal content & piracy — You may not use LinkUnlocker to distribute, promote, or monetize copyrighted material without authorization, pirated software, cracked games, illegal media streams, or any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
• Malware, phishing & fraud — You may not link to or distribute malware, spyware, ransomware, keyloggers, phishing pages, credential-harvesting sites, or any content designed to deceive or harm users technically or financially.
• Hacking & cheating tools — Distribution of exploits, game cheats, aimbots, unauthorized account modification tools, or software intended to circumvent security measures is prohibited.
• Illegal goods & services — You may not promote or sell drugs, controlled substances, weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen credentials, or any product or service whose sale is prohibited by applicable law.
• Hate speech & violent content — Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence, discrimination, or hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or any other protected characteristic is not permitted.
• Misleading & deceptive content — Titles and descriptions must accurately represent what is behind the gate. Clickbait that materially misrepresents the destination, impersonates other creators or brands, or constitutes false advertising is prohibited.
• Spam & artificial inflation — Mass-creating unlockers for the sole purpose of generating ad impressions without genuine content, operating fake-task bots, or any form of artificial inflation of engagement metrics is prohibited.
• Gambling & betting — Unlicensed gambling, sports betting, casino, or similar services may not be promoted through LinkUnlocker without prior written approval.

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether any content violates these rules. When in doubt, do not publish.

Visitors who complete tasks on linked unlockers must not:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or extensions to bypass or fake task completion.
• Perform follow/subscribe actions and then immediately reverse them to abuse creator earn metrics.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with any part of the platform infrastructure.
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities — report them responsibly to [email protected].

Creators may apply to the LinkUnlocker Earn Program to monetize their unlockers through our advertising network. Participation is subject to separate Earn Program terms communicated at the time of application and approval.

We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove any creator from the Earn Program at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms, quality concerns, or changes in advertiser requirements. Accrued earnings below the minimum payout threshold at the time of removal are forfeited.

Creators in the Earn Program must not artificially inflate impression counts, generate fake views, or engage in any activity that deceives advertisers. Discovery of such conduct will result in permanent removal and forfeiture of all accrued earnings.

LinkUnlocker and its original content, design, and code are owned by Jan Hübner and protected by German and international copyright law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the platform itself without prior written consent.

By submitting content (titles, descriptions, thumbnails) to LinkUnlocker, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and reproduce that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform (e.g., showing it on browse pages and in search results). You retain all ownership of your content.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account and remove any of your content at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

LinkUnlocker is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We are not responsible for the content of destination URLs created by creators — each creator is solely liable for their own links.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jan Hübner and LinkUnlocker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of €50 or the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of LinkUnlocker after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes we will attempt to notify registered creators by email.
